Dr. Serhiy Dzis
. Dzis has graduated with high honors from the Institute
of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko
Kyiv National
University. He received
PhD in the same institute in 2004.
At the beginning of his career Dr. Dzis worked as a lawyer for the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Ukraine mostly dealing with international treaties and
advices in the sphere of international public law. Later on Dr. Dzis joined a
English-Ukrainian joint venture operating in light industry where he was mostly
coordinating all legal work under various international transactions and
intellectual property. Before joining SDM Partners, Dr. Dzis was working for a
long time for an international law firm in its Ukrainian office advising big
multinational clients in various areas of law. Dr. Dzis is current a managing
partner with SDM Partners responsible for the firm’s business development and
advising the clients in various fields of law.
Dr. Dzis is also engaged in academic work. He often lectures in reputable
Ukrainian universities and speaks at various international conferences.
Dr. Dzis areas of expertise involve financial law, intellectual property,
business and contractual law.
